I recently saw a video of a man giving a speech about hope. What was interesting was the man had no arms or legs and here he was giving a speech about hope. One thing the man had was life, he radiated life. As I sat and watched this 2 minute excerpt, the tears would not stop falling from my eyes; I was drawn to my life. I began to examine me, noticing my selfishness-my pride. I watched as the man demonstrated falling down. I listened as he said,”sometimes in life we fall down, and what do we do when we fall down, we get back up”. I watched as he began to pull himself back up, using his own strength and objects around him to lift himself up. This is exactly what we have to do, use the strength within us and those around us to get back up and keep moving. You can get up! You can be free from addiction or from anything that keeps you from being the most productive citizen of this world. Keep the Faith! Get Up!
